A. Definition of Job Application Letter

A latter or application, also known as a cover latter, is a document sent with your resume to provide additional information on your skills  and experience.

Your application letter should let the employer know what position you are applying for, why the employer should select you for an interview, and how you fill follow up.

B. Structure of Job Application Letter

The following is the structure of a job application letter (job application letter):

Your Name, E-Mail, and Address

Date

The Hiring Manager

(Company name applied for, address, and e-mail).

Salutation

Opening Paragraph

(Opening paragraph stating what position and where you got the job information).

Body Paragraph

(Fill in the paragraph that explains how you can fill the position needed. In the body paragraph, a job applicant can write things in detail, but still relevant to your experience and achievements).

Closing Paragraph

(Closing paragraph containing acknowledgments, offers, and invitations to the authorities to provide further information).

Complimentary Close

  Kusno Sosrodihardjo or better known as Ir. Soekarno was born in Surabaya, June 6, 1901. Bung Karno, who was the first President of the Republic of Indonesia, died on June 21, 1970 in Jakarta at the age of 69 and he was buried in Blitar, East Java. President Soekarno lives in Tulungagung, East Java with his grandfather. He did not spend his childhood with his parents. In Tulungagung, Soekarno had attended school, but could not finish it, because he was back with his parents living in Mojokerto.   Definitoin Explanation Text Explanation is a text which tells processes relating to forming of natural, social, scientific and cultural phenomena. Explanation text is to say ‘why’ and ‘how’ of the forming of the phenomena. It is often found in science, geography and history text books. Structure Explanation Text Generic Structure of Explanation Text – General statement General statement; stating the phenomenon issues which are to be explained. – Sequenced of explanation Sequenced explanation; stating a series of steps which explain the phenomena.   Thomas Alva Edison is one of the most important scientists in the history of science. However, in his childhood, he always got bad grades at school, until in the end his mother dismissed Thomas from school and taught him himself at home because he had received a warning from the school that Thomas was a child who could not study at school. He is a student who often misses lessons with his friends.
